Business Context: 

1. Ensure all operations until stock is sellable (customs clearance, stock movements, transfers to branches)
2. Ensuring high performance on Order Management Cycle resulting in increase in product availability and faster response time in managing effective logistics.
3. Effectively engage with distributors on order management, inventory management, …
4. Driving efficiencies in order’s management & contribution to improve customer service levels in terms of response time & product delivery
5. Cross collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to drive efficient operations in line with market regulations (Demand, Supply, CS, Regulatory, Commercial, Customs, Distributors)
6. Driving improvement in operations
7. Support Cluster DPM in ad hoc requests (uploads, orders)
8. Management of logistics budget & realize productivity for bottom line contribution.

Key Accountabilities: 

• Ensures stock availability at all times in all locations through
  • Strong In-transit tracking and follow up
  • Fast customs clearance in line with country’s requirements with mitigation when faced with challenges
  •  Strong collaboration with distributors to ensure expedited in-stock process and stock availability in all branches
• Communicate to internal and external stakeholders operations updates with stock picture, operations tracker, improvement plan and results, .and any new development benefiting to or impacting the business
• Customer orders management which incl. but not limited to receipt, review, process & archive
• Order reconciliation process with distributors as per assigned markets to align order quantities, capture actions on received, planned or open quantities.
• Follow up monthly on expected orders dispatch with supply planning
• Always ensure accuracy of the system (R3) with a monthly validation process to match with master file
• Manage complaints product returns, damages and claims
• Tracking of shipments, follow up of customs clearance up to delivery customer warehouse
• Effectively communicate with internal & external stakeholders on orders status
• Drive continuous improvements in operations process to deliver efficiencies
• Deploy tools for tracking of shipment from supply points to destination country
• Maintain records for assessing improvements in shipping & clearance lead times to improve time to market
• Communicate updates on clearance on weekly basis with status & root cause analysis of shipment/clearance delays & actions/support needed.

Main internal relations (size and function of the internal network (customers, peers, etc.) and the role of this position in these networks): The role involves a high level of interaction between internal stakeholders at the Middle East regional office and close collaboration with Supply Chain teams in Supply Points

6. Main external relations (size and function of the external network (HCPs, scientists, stakeholders, etc.) and the role of this position in these networks): Liaison with Distributors & 3^rd party providers as required.

To be Successful in the role you should ideally have: 

Experience:

• A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a multinational FMCG and/or Pharma company
• Primarily hands on knowledge on local distributor management and supply chain management.

Education:

• Bachelor Degree
• Competency in use of Microsoft Office especially Excel and Power Point

Mobility:

• Ideally the candidate should be open to move within the region or outside the region within Danone in 3-4 years, if such opportunity will arise which and contribute to his/her career growth
