About the job

As the Analytics Manager, SIA at Danone Canada, you will be a key driver of data-driven decision-making and strategic insight activation. You will lead initiatives that enhance organizational analytical capabilities, ensure optimal use of NielsenIQ solutions, and foster a culture of insight-led growth. Your role will also include building analytical skills across teams through structured training programs, supporting Danone’s corporate manifesto and B-Corp commitments.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Enablement of Decision-Making
    • Design and implement strategies to strengthen decision-making capabilities across the organization.
    • Champion the use of advanced analytics and insights to inform strategic choices.
  • Mastery and Deployment of NIQ Solutions
    • Act as the internal expert on NIQ’s portfolio (Discover, MarketTrack, Homescan, etc.).
    • Ensure optimal integration of NIQ solutions with internal data sources to maximize business impact.
    • Drive adoption and ROI measurement of NIQ tools across functions.
  • Analytics Capability Building & Training
    • Develop and lead corporate analytics learning plans and training programs to elevate data literacy and analytical proficiency across all functions.
    • Create role-specific learning paths and monitor progress to ensure organizational readiness.
  • Deployment of New Analytical Solutions
    • Lead the implementation of new business intelligence and analytics solutions, ensuring stakeholder engagement and compliance.
  • Insight Activation & Storytelling
    • Translate complex data into actionable insights and compelling narratives for senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
    • Institutionalize best practices for insight-to-action routines.
  • Governance & Data Quality
    • Establish standards for data governance, quality, and comparability across NIQ and internal sources.
    • Ensure compliance with privacy and ethical data practices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with other functions to embed analytics into key business processes.
    • Act as a trusted advisor for strategic initiatives such as pricing, assortment optimization, and innovation sizing.

The annual base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $110,000 CAD. The final salary offered will be determined by factors such as relevant experience and qualifications, internal equity and external market conditions.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in CPG industry or data science roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, visualization) and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with NIQ platforms (Discover, MarketTrack, Homescan) and retailer POS data.
  • PowerBI knowledge is an asset; familiarity with database management, VBA, and automation is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills for senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
