YOUR MISSIONS AT DANONE: 

This internship will take place in Gif-sur-Yvette, at our Global Research & Innovation Center starting from 1st Sep 2026. Zhen Fang, Stats & Data Senior Manager in the team Data & Modelling will guide your day to day tasks and help you grow in your role. 

As an Apprentice Data Steward on the Digiflow project, a Digitalization project of Advanced Technology Team, you will contribute to strengthening data governance and structuring data collected across various R&I teams (Sitex Pilot Plant, analytical labs): 

• Contribute to the definition, documentation, and maintenance of data dictionaries, metadata, and reference tables for the DigiFlow ecosystem. 

• Support the harmonization and structuring of datasets coming from multiple teams, ensuring alignment with our governance standards. 

• Assist in identifying data quality issues, performing rootcause analysis, and supporting remediation actions with data owners and data consumers. 

• Participate in the mapping of data flows, from data capture (equipment, forms, LIMS/ELN) to data storage and analytics, ensuring traceability and consistency. 

• Help maintain the DigiFlow data catalog, ensuring datasets are well described, searchable, and compliant with internal documentation standards. 

• Collaborate with Data Owners, Data Stewards, IT custodians, and business teams to ensure coherent data lifecycle management across the project. 

• Contribute to the preparation of training materials, governance guidelines, and onboarding content for teams adopting the DigiFlow platform.

For this position, we are looking for someone: 

• Available from September 2026 for 12 month

• Bac+5 in biotech, bioinformatics, engineering, data management, or digital transformation; hybrid master's in data and bioscience is a plus 

• Curious, organized, and comfortable with scientific teams 

• Strong communicator, eager to learn data governance 

• Experience with Python, Power BI, SQL, or similar 

• Motivated by bioscience and digital/data intersection 

• Keen to drive digital R&I transformation and work across disciplines
