The Danone Advanced Technology Team is one of the global Research and Innovation Teams of Danone. Its mission is to DELIVER BREAKTHROUGH TECHNOLOGIES TO CREATE VALUE, BENEFITING PEOPLE AND PLANET!
More specifically, the Advanced Technologies - Ingredients department oversees developing innovative ingredients and providing expertise in the various categories of existing and emerging ingredients, as well as anticipating scientific and technological solutions through the promotion and development of our ecosystem.
Within Advanced Ingredient Technologies, the Milk & Dairy Ingredients team has the following missions:
- Develop expertise in understanding the physico-chemical properties and structure of milk, dairy ingredients, and by-products from dairy product production.
- Test and validate various formulations and technologies involving dairy ingredients, as well as their applications in formulations.
- Collaborate with other experts from the Advanced Techno team, global R&D, operations, quality, and factories as needed.
- Support Zone/CBU teams working on short-term projects (H1) by providing high-level expertise to solve their problems.

We are looking for our future Danoner to work at the Paris SACLAY site. This contract will take place in Gif-sur-Yvette (92), at our research and innovation center starting from September 2024. Emmanuel, Senior Director of Advanced Ingredients, will support your development in this role.
Your main responsibilities will focus on:
- Develop Danone’s expertise in the composition, process, and application of dairy ingredients and dairy products across different product categories.
- Create a pipeline of dairy ingredients that offer health, functionality, and natural benefits.
- Collaborate with the C&P Dairy lead within the Partner 4 Growth program.
- Support Horizon 1 projects by providing regional and local teams with easy access to tailored solutions.
- Contribute to expertise in the Milk Valorisation Unit through projects and case studies

About you
The criteria below remain indicative. A candidate who has a different combination of experience and skills could also be considered.
- Holder of a Scientific Baccalaureate / Engineering or Academic background, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar position.
- Strong communication skills / teamwork / attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel, SAP, PowerBI (Hardskills).
- English is essential for communication with the rest of the team!
