HR Business Partner  

(Full-time, Location: Romania, Bucharest, Hybrid) 

The HR Business Partner partners with managers and employees to deliver efficient, consistent and compliant HR support across the entire employee lifecycle. The role focuses on the execution of core HR processes, providing day-to-day HR guidance, supporting people managers, and contributing to a positive employee experience. Working closely with the wider HR team, local and regional, the HR Business Partner ensures operational excellence while continuously improving HR practices and processes.

YOUR responsibilities: 

  • Employee Lifecycle & HR Operations 

* Manage and coordinate HR activities across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation, internal mobility, promotions, organizational changes and offboarding. 
* Ensure timely, accurate and compliant execution of all employee lifecycle processes. 

* Coordinate collaboration with HR Administration (DBS) to ensure smooth execution of operational HR processes. 
* Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures and people-related matters. 
* Maintain accurate employee data and documentation within HR systems. 
* Support the implementation of local and global HR initiatives and process improvements. 

*Partner with business leaders to support workforce planning and define optimal organizational structures aligned with business needs. 

*Contribute to organizational design initiatives, including updates to organizational structures, job descriptions, and implementation of organizational changes. 

 

Employee Relations  

*  Support managers on employee relations and labor law topics, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and people-related matters 

* Provide first-line support on employee relations matters in line with company policies and local labor legislation. 
* Assist in resolving routine employee issues and support investigations when required. 
* Promote a fair, consistent and positive employee experience. 
 

Process Improvement 
* Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, increase efficiency and enhance employee experience. 

* Collaborate cross-functionally on HR projects and initiatives, continuously seeking innovative ways to improve employee experience and organizational effectiveness. 
* Support the implementation of local and global HR initiatives. 
* Contribute to the standardization and continuous improvement of HR practices. 

  • HR Reporting & Compliance 

* Prepare and maintain HR reports and monitor key HR metrics. 
* Ensure compliance with labor legislation, internal policies and HR governance requirements. 
* Maintain accurate HR records and documentation (employees files). 

  • Business Partnership 
    * Build effective working relationships with managers and employees, acting as a trusted HR partner for day-to-day people matters. 
    * Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures and best practices. 
    * Support managers in addressing employee-related topics and escalating complex cases when appropriate. 
    * Partner with business leaders to ensure consistent application of HR policies and processes. 

  • Performance & Talent Processes (for area in responsibility) 
    * Support the execution of annual HR cycles, including performance management, talent reviews and development planning. 
    * Guide managers through performance and development processes. 
    * Monitor completion of key people processes and follow up where needed.

About you

We are looking for a HR Business Partner with the following profile: 

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field. 
* 3–5 years of work experience in Human Resources, out of which minim 2 years HR Business Partner applied experience (previous experience in FMCG is an advantage). 
* Good knowledge of HRBP processes across the employee lifecycle. 

* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. 

* Proactive, agile, and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to adapt in a dynamic business environment 

* High level of initiative, flexibility, and collaboration. 
* Good understanding of local labor legislation. 
* Experience working with HRIS systems is an advantage. 
* Strong organizational and analytical skills. 
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. 
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken. 

* Experience in the FMCG industry and exposure to diverse business environments would be an advantage
