About the job

This newly created position is designed to ensure the effective management and governance of the organisation's operational master data. The role focuses on maintaining data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across various systems. Additionally, it aims to enhance data quality and support informed business decision-making through collaboration with internal teams and involvement in data-related projects.

 

Job responsibilities :

 

  • Maintain and update master data records in systems like SAP via ORsoft and Coupa to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Validate and cleanse incoming master data, ensuring alignment with governance standards.
  • Support data entry and data migration tasks for system implementations or updates.
  • Assist in classifying and categorising data by business rules and governance policies.
  • Monitor and resolve data discrepancies, inaccuracies, or conflicts, escalating to the Master Data Manager when necessary.
  • Assist in coordinating master data projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope.
  • Work with IT, operations, and other departments to gather project requirements and provide support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in tracking project milestones and status reports, identifying potential escalation issues.
  • Adhere to established data governance policies and standards to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Assist in conducting routine data audits to verify that master data is aligned with established standards.
  • Act as a point of contact for master data queries, assisting and guiding business users.
  • Help identify master data-related gaps and suggest improvements to enhance data quality.
  • Generate and assist in preparing reports to monitor data quality and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Help analyse and identify data for trends or anomalies, providing insights to support corrective actions.
  • Participate and contribute to ongoing data improvement initiatives to enhance data accuracy and streamline processes.
  • Keep up to date with best practices in data management and share relevant insights with the team.

 

About you

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Proficiency in English is vital for effective communication across teams and with global stakeholders. Additionally, proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia will be crucial for effective communication within specific geographic regions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and business stakeholders.
  • Basic problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of database management concepts and data modelling principles.
