We are currently seeking an experienced health science professional to join our Medical Affairs and Market Access team as a Medical Affairs Advisor. This consumer-facing, 12-month maternity cover role within the core milks division offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by developing and delivering scientifically backed education, training, claims, content, and resources relevant to our consumers, patients, healthcare professionals, and our internal stakeholders.

 

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Develop content and resources for consumers and health care professionals
  • Execute the tactics within the strategy for your relevant portfolios
  • Build and nurture great relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Plan and execute educational events for consumers/patients and health care professionals
  • Deliver scientific training (including on our products) to internal stakeholders including the field sales team.
  • Keep up to date with the latest science to ensure we are always on the leading edge.
  • Collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams.

About you

You will come from a dietetic/healthcare background with a strong understanding of medical, nutritional science and health principles and how to apply them. You will be a confident and effective communicator who easily engages with your stakeholders.

 

Ideally, you will have:

  • Professional experience in at least one industry role, preferably as a dietitian or nutrition scientist with a strong understanding of evidence, or experience as a food scientist, pharmacist, or chemist within an FMCG organization.
  • Minimum undergraduate qualifications in food science, pharmacy, chemistry or dietetics and/or nutrition.
  • Familiarity with our products and experience as a Medical Advisor (beneficial).
  • Ability to interpret nutritional and scientific research into easy-to-understand messages for consumers and healthcare professionals (HCPs).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Great stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent time and project management skills, with the ability to follow processes with precision.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
