About the job

You are part of the ASPAC Regional S&OP team with the ambition to be a collaborative business partner supporting sustainable growth by piloting an agile & lean supply chain flow powered by advanced tools. As the Regional Upstream Supply Planner, you will play a pivotal role in piloting the MRP process with supply points, procurement and suppliers to ensure the right materials are delivered at the right time to the right place to enable business continuity and performance. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for monthly Regional Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process, lead the allocation and work with key stakeholders to ensure business priorities are met.  
  • Support the development and formulation of long and mid-range planning, policies, programs and objectives related to Materials Planning Management 
  • Works closely with Procurement and operations teams to ensure the appropriate reorder process and timely delivery of materials are in place/contracted, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.  
  • Lead/support the monthly upstream S&OP review meeting 
  • Provide visibility, analyze and monitor the effectiveness of planning performance. Implement monthly processes to track, monitor and improve forecast (accuracy and bias) with critical suppliers and factories.  
  • Liaise with Local & Global teams on tactical and strategical supply scenario planning, monitor and drive optimization of both supply and inventory 
  • Lead continuous improvement on forecasting/planning methodology and tools development 
  • Animate the upstream planning network identifying and roll-outing the best practices with the factories. 
  • Support company/team initiatives on system optimization and improve the accuracy of supply visibility

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need… 

 

The following technical skills and experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain or similar background 
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in S&OP or IBP process 
  • Good understanding of MRP and MPS 
  • Good communication skills  
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and data analysis experiences 
  • Excellent in managing large data, mastering Excel and Power BI. 
  • Proficiency level of written and oral English, French will be a plus.
