At the Nutricia Research Center in Utrecht, we develop innovative nutritional solutions for infants, patients, and vulnerable populations.
As a Product Excellence Intern, you will join the Early Life Nutrition R&I team and contribute to one of Danone’s key digital transformation programs: Cybele – an end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of food innovation, data, and digitalization, while working in a highly international and collaborative environment.
About the Job
- Review and compare data across different systems (PLM, formulation tools, dashboards)
- Support recipe data cleaning and quality checks
- Help ensure data completeness and consistency
- Contribute to continuous improvement of ways of working
- Prepare clear updates and insights for stakeholders
- Collaborate with experts from R&I, digital teams, and factories
What will you learn?

- Exposure to PLM systems, digital transformation projects, and data governance
- Stakeholder collaboration across R&I, IT, and industrial teams
- Real-life experience in data-driven decision-making and process improvement

- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Data/Process Engineering, or related field
- Strong interest in data, digital tools, and process improvement
- Comfortable with Excel (advanced level is a plus)
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Fluent in English
Bonus:
- Basic understanding of PLM, SAP, or data systems
