Your mission

As the Supply & Demand Planner, you are accountable for a portfolio of countries : Latin America

• You provide visibility to the CBU through the animation of the Demand Planning Process, while ensuring that products are available at our distributor warehouses to enable the CBU operational plan;
• In addition, you ensure the consistency & development in forecasting/planning methodology and tools;
• You are the GPS process owner for your region, thereby making sure that all functions contribute and own their part in this process.

Your key responsibilities

• Design, implement and make sure the Global Planning System (GPS) is running properly, with the right contribution and buy-in from all the functions involved;
• Animate the Demand planning process on short, mid and long term (18 months) horizons;
• Ensure the collaboration of all necessary functions to the consensus building;

• Agree on forecast with distributors and participate in demand review meeting every month for about 10 countries, core demand part of the role;

• Define and optimize inventory policies in line with the Service and Cash targets of the distributor, manage inventory levels (Finished Goods);
• In this context, manage the various supply points of Nutricia Export to ensure our purchase orders are produced on time in full and to engage and influence our key counter parts in the factories;
• Define, follow up and update Service Level Agreements with all our supply points and Key Customers;
• Support the planning team with specific systems and method know-how;
• Cooperate with customers to propose orders in such a way that we optimize the utilization of containers for ocean freight;
• According to the market clusterisation of Nutricia Export, contribute to cross functional acceleration teams (JBP: Joint Business Plan).

Your profile

• You have a bachelor or master education level qualification in business or logistics
• At least 3 years relevant working experience in a supply chain environment
• You are able to speak and write English and Spanish fluently or on intermediate level.
