The role of the Validation Manager is to have a strategic oversight of the validation department and site activities including qualification, validation and revalidation of manufacturing processes. It is key for the Validation Manager to be a Site Point of Contact (SPOC) for validation activities and to work alongside other departmental stakeholders providing guidance and support, with the aim that all documentation demonstrate operations and processes lead to consistent and reproducible results. In addition, it is important for this role to build relationships externally and throughout the wider Danone community to access the relevant specialized support and to keep up to date with industry best practice to help deliver the best results for the site.
Success in this role will be demonstrated by the strategic development and implementation of a site validation masterplan to ensure that all manufacturing processes are validated and monitored to guarantee consistent performance in line with the highest quality standards. A key indicator for this achievement will be for the validation status to be audit ready 24/7.
