PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE :
Process Lead role will assist in the implementation and development of IWS and identify, prioritize and eliminate process losses on equipment / lines. The position holder is expected to become a technical expert for the line process and drive standards and problem-solving for the line.
The position holder will develop the operating teams’ technical understanding and mastery of process control and provide coaching and training on our continuous improvement program.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY:
・ To identify, prioritize and eliminate process losses
・Define the equipment standards
・Collaborate with line leaders and operators to develop new standards
・Design, implement and maintain systems to collect and analyze data for critical product and process parameters using this data to identify process losses
・Work with management to prioritize improvement opportunities.
・Eliminate or reduce losses through making process or work system changes
・Own Daily Management Systems and use reliability engineering tools to drive optimization and loss elimination
・Share and reapply learning across processes, modules and plants
・Prepare and give coaching and training on process/equipment changes and other relevant topics to team members
・Participation in internal and external training
・Participation on planned stops to the line and ensuring Daily Management systems (DMS) are applied to stoppage as required
・Standardize and improve Change Over
・Coach and collaborate with the line teams and site or regional equipment / process owners
・Delivering KPIs of the IWS program
・Engagement with multiple stakeholders of the IWS program
CAPABILITY PROFILE – Required Background:
Education background
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering/ Technical College Graduate or equivalent
Technical Skills and Experiences required
・Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Experience
・Data analysis and Programming skills (Excel macro, PowerBI etc.) an advantage
・Japanese: Business level is mandatory, English an advantage
・Strong knowledge of filling and/or packing line operation
・Technical knowledge of filling and packing equipment, tools and process with practical experience an advantage
・Prior relevant experience in a manufacturing, FMCG or pharmaceutical industry
・Working knowledge of internal digital systems
・Previous project management experience an advantage
・IWS experience an advantage

・The person who can communicate smoothly in Japanese and has capability of presentation
