About the job

The Automation Project Manager is responsible to manage and ensure the evolution of the automation in the factory, its maintenance and knowledge sharing.
He/she takes the ownership and responsibility of implementing the automation projects in the factory., including the different area like Process, Packaging, Utilities and Warehouses
By involving internal and external stake holders, manage Automation projects properly to complete in time with expected performance and cost.
Being hands on and resilient in problems solving of Automation implementation.
Leader of, by managing and structuring/organizing, the Automation MasterPlan of the factory as well the Automation area of all projects to be implemented.

 

- Ensure the correct automation implementation according the standards in all the projects implemented in the factory, including all the main areas as Process, Packaging, Utilities and Warehouse
- Ensure the right running of the automation systems and propose optimizations for better performance.
- Participate to the documents set up, audit reports & know how sharing, maintain the documentation related to Automation systems.
- Coach and train the maintenance teams in automation, including control systems programs, Scadas, fieldbus and industrial network.
- Must have strong skills for problem solving analysis and capabilities to fix it.
- Understand properly the needs of projects and translate them to RFQ (Request For Quote)
- Cooperate with C&P, choose proper suppliers/sub-contractors who deliver expected quality of projects at expected costs
- Coordinate between internal/external stake holders and plan/implement the constructions with good cares on safety and environment as well as complying with legal requirements
- Implement Commissioning, Qualification and Validation within planned time frame. Execute reworks/modification without any delay if they are required
- Supply enough training to Operation with evaluation of understanding and skill.
- Hand over to Maintenance group with required documentations and trainings
- Implement post mortem to clarify good and bad practices during the projects and reflect learnings to improve the process of projects
- Follow up the performance of process implemented and seek for further improvement

About you

Education background
Technical college or University Graduate, Electrical/Electronical Engineering is desirable

 

Technical Skills and Experiences required
• Over 5 years of experience in Automation projects and Project management
• Must have a strong knowledge about the PLC programming for Siemens. Knowledge in Mitsubishi PLC programming
• Experienced in Scada Systems like iFix or Intouch (Aveva system is a plus)
• Qualified in Real Time Data Bases (as Wonderware Historian)
• Experienced in connection between instruments, machines, PLCs and Scada’s
• Expertise in Basic and C programming (Desirable)
• Strong Business level Japanese and Basic English written and spoken skillset
• General MS office suite skills
• Experience liaising with foreign suppliers/customers preferable
