Senior Maintenance Manager

About the job

Primary purpose of this role is to maximize production efficiency by minimizing down time and breakdown of machine with minimum maintenance cost. Maintaining facilities, machine, devices as they should be and executing continuous improvement to have better efficiency. Job scope is not limiting for production facilities.

 

Main responsibilities:
-Understand company and plant objective and direction in deep and cascade it down to production organization.
-Secure safety in responsible area
-Make sure safety practice (rules) are respected.
-Make sure machines comply to Safety and Quality standard.
-Manage maintenance cost within budget.
-Manage Spare Parts availability while optimizing the number /value of spare parts for better PL control and cash flow.
-Make sure procurement, consumption process of spare parts is following Danone internal guideline.
-Make sure maintenance is executed as planned/scheduled.
-Reapply best practices from other plants, CBU.
-Develop organization and people in leadership, functional capability, and expertise.
-Deliver KPI target in SQCDME (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Motivation, and Environment).
-Anticipate future status/change in business and design organization to fit it
-Maximize efficiency and capacity of installed equipment /lines.
-Implement IWS (Integrated Work System) methodology, especially AM (autonomous maintenance), PM (Preventive Maintenance) and FI (Focused Improvement) and make sure the system is well maintained and improving.
-Contribute to Project Teams for new installations for new innovations.
-Lead some plant wide activities – WISE (Safety), Quality, Environment (ISO14001), etc.
-Develop a maintenance strategy for future including CAPEX proposal working with Engineering team

About you

Education background:
•Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Process Engineering and above, or Technical College Graduate or equivalent

Technical Skills and Experiences required:
•Rich experience in maintenance discipline.
•Experience of people manage and lead big group (20-30 people) is preferred.
•Experience working in plant and production. Experience in food industry and/or Pharma is even better.
•Native level Japanese (reading/writing/listening/speaking)
•Business level English (reading/writing/listening/speaking)
•Experience to implement TPM (total productive maintenance), knowledge in AM (autonomous maintenance), PM (preventive / progressive maintenance), FI (focused improvement) is preferred.
•Experience using MS Word, Excel, Power Point
•Experience in SAP and BI (Business Intelligence) is preferred
