I started as an intern in 2018 and moved permanently into the digital team after 12 months. I’ve been fully supported to develop my skills and recently acted as scrum master on an agile project, greatly improving our CRM system for our customer care and quality assurance teams. The impact of that piece of work will have a benefit for many years to come, even if I move on to another role.

I’ve been working as the Diversity & Inclusion champion for the IT team for about 6 months. I connect with other champions across the UK and globally, and we share ideas. I work to promote events focusing on different aspects of D&I, and our current focus at the moment is on gender diversity. My manager is flexible enough to let me get involved with these things; it’s rewarding, and it’s great to be making lots of new connections.
