Danone has given me years of valuable experience and opportunities, allowing me to work with passionate, like-minded individuals. Transitioning from a Supply Point role to a CBU role has been a significant change with new stakeholders. Everyone, especially the fantastic General Secretary team, has been incredibly supportive and great to work with.
Working at Danone New Zealand as my first job abroad, has exposed me to a rich, diverse culture. I have honed my soft and technical skills, adaptability and agility. Many of my roles were newly created, pushing me beyond my comfort zone and opening doors to new opportunities like team building, process improvements, and coaching.
At Danone, never hesitate to be yourself. You’re encouraged to ask questions, challenge the status quo, and propose improvements for better outcomes. Approaching anyone, including the senior leadership team to share your thoughts, collaborate, or simply have a conversation is welcomed.
Being entrusted with the leadership of the Disability Pillar in Danone’s DEI journey is profoundly meaningful to me, especially because of my personal experience following a physical injury. This role allows me to advocate for inclusivity and ensure that everyone, regardless of their abilities, has a voice and a place in our organisation.
As a solo parent without close family or relatives, work flexibility is crucial. My manager’s trust and belief in me and my capabilities motivates me to excel. Additionally, Danone offers great benefits and opportunities that I can leverage and excel at my work with peace of mind and confidence to succeed.
