As our Business Performance Intern, you will be a part of our Commercial Excellence team in Rijswijk, NL. Commercial Excellence (CE) Team is a High-Performance Team with a Benelux scope, wherein you will support data analysis and reporting to drive the Healthcare Engagement strategy and help optimize the Field Force performance by providing the business with fact based & analytical information in the Netherlands market.

You will be responsible for

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Track the performance of KPIs across Specialized Nutrition categories. Transform raw data into actionable business insights to assess the success of commercial activities. Analyze dashboards and reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Support HCP Engagement Strategy: Assist in the development and execution of healthcare professional (HCP) engagement plans.
  • Multichannel Engagement & SFE: Support MCE implementation and sales-force effectiveness by gathering and analyzing engagement data to enrich insights about healthcare channels.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders across Sales, Strategy, Medical, and Data teams to ensure alignment and impact.

About you

You are a Bachelor’s or Master’s student (preferably) in Business, Economics, Data Science, Health Economics, or a related field, with an affinity for data analytics, reporting, and performance tracking to bring data‑driven insights to the business in a fast‑paced environment. You are self‑motivated, proactive, and have a strong sense of ownership. You combine independence with strong teamwork skills and have a critical and structured mindset. We expect you to be fluent in English (written and spoken). Fluency in Dutch is not mandatory, but it is considered a strong plus. Proficiency in either Excel or Power BI is required. 

 

There are also some compulsory requirements

  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree (preferable) in Business, Economics, Data Science, Health Economics, or a related field for the entire duration of the internship.
  • Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN number. Non-EU citizens must have a valid Dutch residency permit.
  • For non-EU citizens, your university must sign a three-party agreement with Danone. Non-EU citizens are only eligible to apply if they are enrolled in a Dutch university.
  • Available to start in March/April 2026 for a minimum of 6 months, 4-5 days per week.
  • Able to work from our Rijswijk office at least 2 days per week (Tuesday/Thursday).
