About the function – Quality Food Safety (QFS):

QFS is about ensuring excellence in Quality, and Food Safety in all our products, at all stages from suppliers’ management, manufacturing, and to the shelves for consumers.

QFS has never been more critical to the company, as emphasized by our CEO Antoine de St. Affrique ‘Quality is our biggest innovation’

Within this context, the QFS Financial Controller plays a key role in supporting Danone’s ongoing commitment to upholding the highest standards of food safety while ensuring sound financial management. Serving as a link between QFS & finance, this position offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on business outcomes but also on consumer trust and well-being. The person is expected to work closely with senior management & to involve in global quarterly QFS business review. In addition, the function is evolving & transforming at a fast pace to meet new standards, ways of working & remain competitive.

Working in the vibrant heart of Paris, you will join a dynamic & efficient team dedicated to continuous improvement and innovation in both quality and finance.

Additional details as follows:

Your mission / role in QFS:

• Coordinate, prepare, consolidate Zone overheads for each Rolling Forecasts, AOP, Quarterly business review
• Support Silver Rules project (harmonize QFS organization in plants)
• Support COGS taxonomy project 2025 – 2026, identifying & coordinating global costs reclasses according to cogs taxo & Danone controlling manual
• Ensure & adapt to EU zone actuals reporting driven by carve-out in 2026
• Support & prepare for monthly Orga review committee (relating to people resources)
• Lead & work closely with current L9 team member
• Prepare Consolidated R&I QFS monthly closing deck & quarterly reviews with Company controlling
• Prepare consolidated global Risk & Opps on overheads
• Animate regular finance training to non-finance stakeholders
• Animate & prepare for adapted OPE schedule reporting
• Prepare for more focus control of QFS in COGS
• Contribute actively to continuous improvement of processes and build business cases for QFS stakeholders on cost & efficiencies

• Organizational Design (OD) partners
• Company controlling, Zone finance, CBU finance, legal entities controllers, Ops & C&P controllers, project leaders  
• Others: International mobility team, tax team

The criteria listed below are indicative. Applications presenting a different combination of experiences and skills may also be considered:

• Master’s degree from a business school or equivalent with specialization in finance controlling or audit background
• Minimum 7 years of successful experiences managing senior, finance & non-finance stakeholders
• Good proficiency in Excel. An additional knowledge of Essbase, Magnitude, SAP, PowerPoint, Power BI is a plus
• Rigorous coupled with sophisticated analytical skills & with good business acumen
• Good synthesis skills to conceptualize quickly and communicate clearly via presentations, meetings & emails
• Good interpersonal skills and strong sense of customer service
• Pro-active, reactive & positive mindset  
• Ability to navigate in a fast-moving, complex, and ambiguous situation
• Fluent written and spoken English & French, a third language is a plus
