About the job

IT&Data Service Manager AMS Europe will be responsible for ensuring effective managed service delivery within a specific region, guaranteeing that all services are delivered on time and meet expected quality standards. This role requires strong coordination skills, a deep understanding of IT systems, and the ability to manage internal relationships effectively. In addition, the Service Manager partners closely with the Product Owner and Tech Partner to align service outcomes with business priorities, drive continuous improvement, and foster stakeholder engagement across the zone.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • coordinating and managing the delivery of IT services from AMS within one region
  • monitoring regional service delivery performance, identifying and addressing issues promptly
  • supporting effective resolution of complex incidents by engaging subject matter experts
  • ensuring effective communication and collaboration between internal teams and AMS
  • managing relationships with regional stakeholders, with help of the Tech Partner
  • providing status updates to regional governance to maintain expected service levels
  • ensuring compliance with agreed KPIs and SLAs by tracking performance metrics
  • anticipating in weekly and monthly service reviews; follow best practices and methodologies for service delivery management
  • acting as a trusted advisor to regional business leaders, ensuring alignment between AMS services and business needs
  • leading initiatives to enhance service delivery processes and customer experience
  • driving adoption of automation and digital tools to optimize service delivery

About you

We expect you to have: 

  • several years of experience in IT service delivery or coordination
  • proven track record of successfully managing IT service delivery from Application Management Service (AMS) or similar environments
  • strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and service management
  • excellent coordination and organizational skills
  • proficiency in service management tools and software (e.g., ITIL, ServiceNow)
  • exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage multiple service delivery projects simultaneously
  • ITIL or similar service management certification preferred
  • demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across business and IT
  • experience in driving process improvements and implementing automation
