About the job

As an Operations Intern, you will support the Nutricia Medical Devices Operations team in managing projects and planning activities while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers exposure to project management, supply chain planning, and operational excellence within the medical devices sector.

 

In this internship, you will assist in tracking projects, maintaining planning routines, and identifying opportunities to streamline processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance with quality standards.

 

Your main responsibilities include:

 

Project Management

  • Assist in tracking project timelines, updating dashboards, and maintaining documentation.
  • Support coordination of cross-functional activities and follow-up on action items.

Planning / Supply Chain

  • Contribute and support on the planning & activity management and deployment routines
  • Participate actively in the monthly S&OP process to ensure accurate data consolidation and alignment
  • Support on the communication with the different stakeholders involved in planning & activity activities

Continuous Improvement & Performance Tracking

  • Support the team with the implementation of lean practices and process optimization initiatives.
  • Contribute to performance tracking by monitoring project KPIs and supplier performance metrics.
  • Help design and maintain KPI dashboards to provide visibility on operational and planning performance.

About you

You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or a related field. You are highly motivated, enjoy challenging yourself, and have a strong eye for detail, enabling you to complete tasks accurately and efficiently. You possess an analytical mindset and solid  Excel  skills. You are proactive, a strong communicator, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. You enjoy connecting with a wide range of diverse stakeholders.

 

Key requirements:

  • Enrolled as a Master's student for the entire duration of the internship.
  • Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN number. Non-EU citizens must have a valid Dutch residency permit.
  • For non-EU citizens, your university must sign a three-party agreement with Danone.
  • Available to start in  March/April  for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); 
  • Able to work from our Hoofddorp office at least 2 days per week.
