Role Purpose:

 

Lead the number one dairy brand, Activia, driving the next phase of growth and momentum. You will be accountable for P&L delivery, set the long‑term strategic direction for gut health aligned with the global brand vision, and create compelling storytelling to drive sustainable brand and business growth working cross-functionally.

This role operates within a highly matrixed organisation. Success requires strong stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills, working closely with local teams as well as European and Global teams to deliver results.

 

Key Activities:

As Senior Brand Manager, you’ll be the strategic lead for Activia in the UK & Ireland, responsible for:
 

Commercial Ownership & Market Performance

  • Accountability for brand P&L and market performance, strengthening Activia’s number one share position and accelerating growth
  • Contribute to development and delivery of annual marketing plan & business targets
  • Track brand performance throughout the year, working with cross‑functional teams to prioritise actions, realise incremental opportunities and course‑correct when needed
  • Effectively manage portfolio and investment allocation to ensure resources are used efficiently and effectively

Brand Strategy & Direction

  • Shape the brand strategy, aligned with the global brand vision, to drive leadership in gut health
  • Act as the UK & Ireland brand lead within European and Global teams, influencing strategy, negotiating priorities and adapting global plans for strong local execution. Bring the voice of the UK&I consumer to ensure global and European initiatives reflect market needs and nuances

Communications & Creative Leadership

  • Lead/support communications strategy, working closely with global on influencing & deploying creative platform, & drive development locally to land best in class communications through the funnel
  • Lead campaign planning and annual brand planning, aligning stakeholders around clear priorities
  • Brief and deliver impactful brand campaigns and activations, working closely with agency partners and internal teams to deliver effective and efficient creative and media with clear measurement
  • Drive the brand’s visual identity, ensuring consistent execution in line with the global brand vision

Innovation, Renovation & Project Leadership

  • Develop a multi‑year innovation pipeline focused on fewer, bigger, better ideas, aligned with and influencing global roadmaps
  • Lead a wide range of brand projects e.g. innovation, renovation of existing products or packaging, communications or creative platform projects, bringing marketing craft beyond project management

Matrix Leadership & People Management

  • Role‑model strong people leadership, development and a high‑feedback culture
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing team, setting clear priorities, simplifying complexity and inspire teams by clearly communicating the ‘why’ behind decisions and direction

Please note that the salary on offer for this position is between £70,000 - £85,000 + bonus & benefits
