Join Danone as a VIE in Overhead Controlling and contribute to the financial performance of our organization by managing and optimizing overhead costs. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain international experience, develop strong analytical skills, and collaborate with senior stakeholders in a dynamic and purpose-driven environment.
Your home office is located in Rijswijk (alongside the part of the Benelux Finance team that is based in NL) Occasionally, travel to Belgium (Brussels) might be required, as we operate in a Benelux context.
YOUR MISSIONS AT DANONE:
- Overhead Cost Management: Maintain a clear understanding of overhead costs (people and non-people) and deliver actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
- Month-End Closing & Reporting: Execute month-end activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting for all serviced entities.
- Forecasting & Cross-Charges: Lead the overhead forecasting process and manage cross-entity charges.
- Stakeholder Reviews: Organize and conduct monthly review sessions with functional heads to monitor risks and opportunities.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal control requirements, including quarterly cut-off checks.
- Continuous Improvement: Enhance tools, reports, and processes to drive efficiency and accuracy.
About you
We are looking for someone:
- Education: Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Skills: Strong analytical mindset, proficiency in Excel and financial systems (SAP is a plus), excellent communication skills.
- Languages: Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
- Profile: Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in an international environment.
Are you eligible for a V.I.E?
V.I.E is a Business France device allowing Europeans to work internationally for a designated company.
- You must be aged 18 to 28
- You must have completed national service obligation.
- You must be a citizen of the European Economic Area.
- You must have never worked in the country in which you wish to do your VIE.
What are the contractual advantages of the V.I.E?
- Business France handles everything for volunteer’s contract.
- Business France handles the whole care insurance for volunteers (sickness; maternity invalidity; work accidents).
- There are no taxes and charges on salary. There are no unemployment benefits and retirement contribution.
- You will be granted with 2,5 days off per month.
- Your gratification is fixed according to the Business France grid.
