In all honesty, I used to only associate Danone with their yoghurts and football sponsorships in Italy. It wasn’t until I started my internship in specialized nutrition, that I realized there’s more to the brand than meets the eye. Now, as a father to a small baby, I witness the impact of our products firsthand. It adds a tangible dimension to the job - you know exactly what you’re working for.
I love that I get to lead a team of fun, talented and ambitious people. Guiding their growth and watching them succeed is extremely rewarding, and fills me with pride every single day. While we certainly work hard, we never forget to have a good time either. Life at Danone is fun, and I am convinced that that’s important too.
In my journey through Operations, I took a detour into the world of Purchasing. Witnessing processes in another department was a great learning curve, and that's what Danone is all about. You are always encouraged to step out of your department and discover another, whether that’s Finance, Sales or Manufacturing. Want to see what else is out there? Nobody will stop you from exploring at Danone.
Ten years at Danone, and not a single year has gone by without learning or seeing something new. By gaining new skills, knocking on department doors and discussing possibilities, the growth opportunities here are endless. In my opinion, if you’re curious and willing to learn, then it’s impossible to get bored at Danone!
