In this project at Danone Research, we aim to improve our membrane operations and reduce water consumption in our factories using milk as a raw material. More specifially you will participate to the identification of ways to reduce water consumption by recycling cow water and maintaining high water quality standards. You will work with central Research & Innovation, central Water Operation and factory team. We are looking for a passionate and motivated intern to join our team and contribute to this project.

As an intern, your responsibilities will include:

• Review literature for mass balances in unit operations and identify gaps between simulations and real data.
• Real data collection in one factory located in France.
• Assisting in the water audits of membrane operations for ingredients production.
• Collaborating with various departments to ensure clear conclusion from field data in order to nourish the creation of water and process specifications.
• Supporting the project team in identifying new approaches to limit water consumption in the factory by optimizing CIP related to membrane unit operation.
• Participating in project updates and presentations to the internal stakeholders.
