The Manager, DTC & Ecommerce will support and oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of our DTC businesses. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of digital commerce, with a strong focus on managing direct-to-consumer (D2C) businesses, emerging ecommerce, and DTC performance capabilities. The role will be highly cross-functional, involving collaboration with internal stakeholders, global partners, and business/agency partners to drive impact and growth.

This position is hybrid and based in White Plains, NY or New York City, NY. 

Key Responsibilities:

 

DTC Business Management

  • Manage DTC businesses to plans, including hitting/exceeding yearly sales targets; leveraging performance dashboard with insight into what is working/not working and actionable recommendations  
    • Heavy consult with brand and media teams to ensure acquisition media planning is optimized and to hit our sales and subscriber targets
    • Develop strong value proposition/offerings to drive best value/experience
    • Retention and engagement program creation and optimization including CRM enablement, loyalty, affiliate and referral
  • Responsible for agency management, with a focus around owned platform management and DTC performance optimization/capabilities
    • Oversee website/CRM strategy, design, management, optimization
    • Dashboard creation, including KPI tracking, to monitor performance, performance reporting and learnings (improvements and opportunities)
    • Activate performance capabilities (optimization, A/B testing, CRM, personalization, loyalty)
    • Stay in touch on market/competitive insights, research, trends
  • Foster and create strong relationship across cross-functional teams (IT, brand, project management, operations & logistics, consumer connections)
    • Driving accountability to technical performance including monitoring web health scores
    • Understanding of marketing technologies and activate/optimize in partnership with IT and agency partners
    • Deliver best in class digital experience in partnership with IT, brand and agencies
    • Collaborate with 3PL, ops/SAP, IT and customer service teams to ensure best practices and strong customer experience
  • Key collaborator across capabilities roadmap and new business opportunities
    • Contribute to the development and activation of the performance capabilities roadmap, validated through efficiencies gained or growth (sales, subscribers, etc.), driven by insights, best practice and data. Including, vendor research/selection in partnership with IT and global program adoption
    • Enabling and capturing first party data to better serve acquisition and better engagement
    • Emerging commerce opportunities (social commerce, 3P marketplaces, etc.)

The base compensation range for this position is $115,000 - $135,000 commensurate with experience. Key Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in DTC/Ecommerce management. Proven track record of managing DTC businesses and driving growth.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive impact through optimization and growth opportunities 
    • Expertise in Ecommerce platforms, agency management, and digital consumer experience
    • Excellent project management skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and external partners
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate/influence with various stakeholders and teams
