As our Contract & Tender Manager you are driver in the Sales, Marketing and Finance triangle to ensure the constant improvement and proper execution of contracts & tenders within Nutricia Advanced Medical Nutrition, by continuously monitoring and implementing compliance with law and local and corporate policies, leading the planning and execution of contract related processes, and providing insights into contracts and tenders landscape and trends to support the delivery of winning contracts & tenders and driving profitable growth in the channels.

Your key responsibilities are: 

  • Develop, implement and sustain standardized contract formats and ensure compliance of these documents with the law and local and corporate policies and internal processes.
  • Drive and coordinate the contract submission process by checking the documents ensuring compliance with law and local and corporate policies and safeguard the internal approval and communication regarding the status.
  • Lead and coordinate tender process, align and involve internal organization to gather the necessary input to safeguard the timelines and high quality of submitted tenders.
  • Plan and execute proactively, timely and accurately all contract related financials (bonuses, contribution fees of the care homes and pre-payments), pro-actively align with controlling and financial administration on timelines and impact of these payments on company financials and up-date relevant stakeholders (sales, controlling, financial administration, etc.) on the status of these payments.
  • Contribute to gathering documents and market insights in order to further build the contract & tender landscape and trends intelligence.
  • Signal and inform sales organization about trends and developments in contracts & tenders.
  • Co-develop value adding contract & tender solutions in cooperation with sales & account managers to ensure profitable growth.
  • Develop and maintain the training regarding the contract & tender management to the organization (new hires training, new systems and procedures training, legal developments, etc.).
  • Utilize and contribute to development and improvement of systems used, keep the related databases and files up to date and ensure that the related processes are compliant with the global and local policies and aligned with relevant departments (controlling, finance, customer service, internal control, master data, etc.).

About you

  • Experience (in years): 2-5 yrs preferably in healthcare, pharmaceutical or food environment
  • Master/HBO in Economics or Law
  • Solutions-oriented and problem solving approach
  • Strong in setting priorities
  • Performing accurately under high pressure
  • Analytical
  • Understanding of the impact of customer focus on internal processes & systems
  • Strong business acumen
  • Cross-functional skills, fostering collaboration
  • Project management skills
  • Effective in navigating through matrix environments
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
