POSITION DESCRIPTION : 
 
Reporting to the Raw Materials Supply Manager and Projects, we are looking for a raw materials planner. The raw materials planner is responsible for the supply of packaging materials and ingredients used by Danone Canada's Boucherville plant, and works closely with the production planning teams and various departments of the plant.
 
MORE SPECIFICALLY, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR :
 
BUSINESS PLANNING PROCESS:
 
• Develop the supply plan for the categories of materials for which he/she is responsible to ensure the availability of materials in time and quantities, and to minimize obsolescence.
• Work with cross-functional project teams to ensure the proper execution of innovation, renovation, and productivity projects.
• Manage supplier performance by developing a relationship of trust while coordinating continuous improvement work in their business with Danone Canada.
• Analyze and develop dashboards to monitor key performance indicators of his/her own activity (stock levels, delivery delays, etc.).
• Proactively identify supply constraints and challenges related to the plant's production plans; propose alternative solutions and coordinate their implementation with the purchasing department and cross-functional teams.
 
SYSTEMS:
 
• Master SAP applications and specific software to refine supply models.
• Ensure that the entire planning system is maintained and optimized. Conduct regular checks of all parameters and update them if necessary.
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators - obsolescence, daily inventory, service, forecast accuracy.
• Develop Power BI reports to facilitate reporting and communication with other departments.
 
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION:
 
• Participate in cross-functional project management meetings to ensure the proper execution of supply plans with suppliers.
• Anticipate exceptional needs for raw material planning strategy based on finished product planning.
• Collaborate with logistics and plant services to optimize raw material storage.

About you

 
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:
 
• Bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in supply chain.
• Knowledge of supply chain operations, processes, and systems including SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel), Power BI.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Process and results-oriented.
• Comfortable in changing environments and priority lists.
• Fully bilingual (spoken and written) in French and English.
