We currently have an opportunity for a Warehouse Operator Shift 1 for a duration of 6 months

The successful candidate will have responsibility over product & pallet handling (inbound –storage – outbound).

Given the nature of the product, high requirements are set with regards to observing rules and procedures in the areas of safety, food safety, quality, good manufacturing practices (GMP), and environmental protection. 

You must have the ability to work on your own initiative, have strong communication skills, ability to prioritise and think ahead, the ability to solve problems and be able to work nights and weekends.

The following qualifications/skills are required:

• Stock control
• Experience in handling goods
• PC experience: Word-Excel and Email
• SAP Knowledge
• RF system use and understanding
• Communicative & team player
• Experience in the nutritional industry
• Forklift experience – valid forklift licences
• H & S Awareness
• Good sight
• No fear of height

You will be joining a dynamic, winning team, with a keen focus on delivering in the safest way possible.  You will ensure that goods in and goods out processes occur in a timely and safe manner so that orders can be realized and transported in time.  As the logistic activities are closely intertwined with several other internal activities within Alpro, you will have frequent contacts with several departments such as, for instance, Logistics, Quality, Production, IT, Health & Safety, HR, etc and externally with the Logistics Service Providers.  You will become conversant with internal processes and structures such as IWS, MES and using SQCDME Key Performance Indicators as a measure of success.
