Role Purpose:

To lead the profitable growth and excellent execution of the Rontec, Lagardère, Welcome Break and Moto accounts. This role owns the full customer relationship, driving strategy, execution and performance across Forecourt & Travel partners while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver best‑in‑class category performance, activation and operational delivery.

 


Key Activities:

Customer Engagement

- Own and lead customer relationships across all forecourt & travel partners.
- Lead customer meetings to drive performance, negotiate plans, identify opportunities and build collaborative partnerships.
- Build and deliver annual customer plans aligned to travel and forecourt shopper needs.
- Work closely with Category and Insights teams to deliver data‑led proposals and category recommendations.
- Act as the main point of contact for all commercial and operational interactions. Customer Profitability
- Assisting the Travel team with business reporting and invoicing in a timely manner.
- Assisitng NAM’s to review their monthly forecasting based on data, insight, and feedback 
- Working with NAM’s to deliver profitable growth for both Danone and customer through yearly Joint Business Plans

Commercial & Customer Profitability

- Lead forecasting, performance tracking and reporting for each customer.
- Manage customer P&L elements including pricing, promotional planning and investment effectiveness.
- Drive insight‑led recommendations to unlock growth and improve customer performance.

Retail Execution

- Own the implementation and execution of customer‑specific activation, promotions and NPD launches.
- Ensure flawless delivery of perfect store standards across key sites.

Conduct regular site visits to assess execution, gather insights and monitor competitor activity

Interactions - Internal & External

- Internal – Travel & Forecourt Team, Category, PRGM, Supply, Finance, Shopper, Field & Marketing.
- External – Buying Teams, Commercial & Operational contacts across Rontec, Lagardère, Welcome Break and Moto.

Scope and Impact
- Lead day‑to‑day management of Rontec, Lagardère, Moto and Welcome Break across all categories.
- Deliver customer‑led NPD, range reviews, execution plans and category initiatives.
- Ensure customer strategies align with internal Travel & Forecourt channel priorities.
- Provide market intelligence and insights to shape internal planning.
- Coordinate customer initiatives with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.

About you

We would like you to demonstrate your following key skills:

 
- Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to negotiate, influence and lead both internally and externally.
- Strong commercial understanding and comfort working with data.
- Proven ability to identify commercial opportunities and solve problems.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced environments.
- Strong competency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience in forecourt, travel or impulse‑driven environments is advantageous.

Salary bracket:  £34k - 38k + bonus & benefits
