About the job

As Product Owner – Quality & Food Safety (QFS) for the Americas region, you will Build products that protect consumers and enable the business to move fast—safely.

You will be accountable for the product vision, roadmap, and value delivery of QFS digital solutions, working closely with Quality & Food Safety teams, Operations, R&I, and IT & Data squads to reduce risk, ensure compliance, and drive quality digitization across the region.

 

We’re looking for a Product Owner – QFS to lead digital and process‑enabled products that support stringent regulatory and quality processes in a highly regulated environment.

This role is for someone who combines strong product management capabilities with deep, hands‑on experience in Quality & Food Safety, staying close to day‑to‑day operations and real regulatory challenges.

About you

 

What you’ll do

  • Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for QFS solutions end‑to‑end.
  • Translate regulatory and QFS requirements into clear user stories and functional specifications.
  • Ensure products enable compliance, traceability, audits, and risk management by design.
  • Work hands‑on with Quality, Food Safety, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and IT teams.
  • Balance strategic priorities with daily product decisions and operational issues.
  • Continuously improve solutions based on user feedback, audits, and evolving regulations.

What we’re looking for

Must‑have

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager.
  • Strong background in Quality & Food Safety or similarly regulated environments (FMCG, food & beverage, pharma, regulated manufacturing).
  • Experience working within stringent regulatory frameworks and compliance‑driven processes.
  • Ability to move seamlessly between strategy and hands‑on execution.
  • Strong experience in Agile / product‑centric delivery models.
  • Experience operating in regional or global roles across multiple countries.
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar roles
  • Experience with enterprise QFS or SAP‑based quality systems.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish

Nice to have

  • Experience with complaint tracking systems
  • Exposure to agile or product‑centric delivery in regulated environments.
  • Experience managing or integrating client/consumer complaint management systems.
  • Knowledge of Portuguese
