Primary Purpose of the Role:
As the Plant Controlling Specialist you will be supporting the Sr Manager Plant Controller in the forecasting, monitoring and reporting of the plant operation results. You actively drive all financial control and accounting activities of the plant together with the Plant Controller, including general cost accounting, compliance and factory fixed assets. You will help to measure and control plant activities and ensure that the financial control processes and systems comply with global Danone policy.
With an open and continuous improvement mindset you will drive the transparency and accuracy of data through KPI tracking and new dashboards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Forecasting, monitoring and reporting on plant performance in active collaboration with the Operations team
- Lead financial control and accounting activities through continuous alignment and coordination with other functions
- Support forecasting of COGS together with Plant Controller and Finance
- Develop and maintain accurate & user-friendly COGS dashboards
- Contributor to yearly internal control process, drive compliance initiatives, including inventory and fixed asset counting and monitoring
- Ad hoc requests to increase transparency and accuracy of COGS reporting as well as related to projects to increase factory performance
About you
Education Background
- Bachelor degree from college or university.
Technical Skills and Experiences required
- Strong foundation in factory cost accounting
- Monitoring and visualization of factory performance
- Financial planning & forecasting experience is advantageous
- Experience in capital expenditure and fixed asset management a plus
- Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint skills
- Advanced SAP skills
- Microsoft Power BI preferred
- Advanced English skills preferred
