This center features offices, laboratories, pilot lines (small production lines), and support functions for R&I. The Controlling department of R&I (Research and Innovation) is on the lookout for its next Business Controller for the Danone Global Research & Innovation Center in Gif-Sur-Yvette (Paris-Saclay). Our finance team, rich in diversity and international experience, consists of 8 dynamic members ready to welcome a new colleague. 

YOUR MISSIONS 
 
You will be in charge of the three teams Global UX, Site & HR Paris-Salay which are located Danone Global Research & Innovation Center (Gif Sur Yvette, Ile de France). This role will enable you to develop your skills in Controlling and to integrate an international environment.  

Your main responsibilities are: 

• Act as a business partner for R&I Directors within Global UX team as well as site director and HR director. 

• In charge of CAPEX management of R&I (Paris-Saclay scope) 

• In charge of payroll controlling, as well as payroll related accruals such as holiday and bonus accruals (Paris-Saclay scope) 

• In charge of Dango control (Paris-Saclay scope) 

• Support request of CSE 

• Propose, analyse (YTD-YTG) for actual spends and FTE as well as prepare monthly consolidated dashboards to the management team to improve decision making 

• Support monthly closing and Pilot landing in coordination with the DBS team. 

• Act as FP&A for PS scope: Magnitude reporting, retrospective planning, communicate closing calendar in alignment with DBS. 

• Drive regular meetings with internal key stakeholders to control costs & challenge / bring solutions to optimize costs.  

• Manage the intercompany flows for the relevant scope (ICE).  

• Co-Lead the Rolling Forecast process by building the annual calendar, setting up requirements, establishing guidelines, and communicating requests in a timely manner within your domains. 

• Support the Strategic Plan (Stratplan) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP)  

• Drive business performance through ad hoc analysis and recommendations (Risks and Opportunities overview, re-allocation of costs).  

• Drive efficiency through process optimisation and automatisation. 

 INTERACTIONS 

• Reporting into R&I finance director.  

• Close collaboration with Senior FP&A R&I for Capex and planning 

• Interact with members of Global UX team, Site director and HR director.  

• Interact with CAPEX spocs (Paris-Saclay scope) 

• For R&I Finance Global Transversal Projects, working closely with all the R&I Controllers across in Utrecht and Paris-Saclay.  

• Interact with the DBS Finance team.

The criteria below remain indicative. A candidate who has a different combination of experience and skills could also be considered.  

• You hold a Master's degree in Controlling/Finance and have already gained initial experience in Controlling, Accounting, or Finance including internships. 

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in controlling 

• Experience with one of the Big Four firms (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC), accounting companies and experience in other FMCG company is an advantage. 

• You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI). 

• Familiarity with SAP and Magnitude is required. 

• You are fluent in English. 

• Proficiency in French is desirable. 

• You are recognized for your analytical skills, autonomy, and rigor. 

• You possess excellent team spirit. 

• You are responsible and adaptable to changing environments
