Join the Alpro Kettering Engineering Team

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Day Shift Engineer to join our Maintenance & Engineering team at Alpro's Kettering manufacturing site, where we produce plant-based food and drink products.

This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining and improving our state-of-the-art production equipment, ensuring reliability, efficiency, safety and product quality across the site.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities
• Responding to equipment breakdowns and restoring production quickly and safely
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
• Supporting continuous improvement projects and root cause analysis activities
• Assisting with equipment modifications and installation projects
• Completing maintenance records and updates through SAP
• Driving high housekeeping, safety and engineering standards

What We're Looking For:

• Time-served and qualified maintenance engineer
• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent engineering qualification
• Multi-skilled engineer preferred (electrical or mechanical background considered)
• Electrical engineers with 18th Edition qualification are desirable
• Experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideally food, FMCG or packaging
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, automation and control systems
• Good IT skills, including SAP and Microsoft Office
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
