We are currently recruiting for a FP&A Controller within our Finance Department. This is a permanent, full-time contract.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for consolidation of Wexford Supply point’s reporting. This includes Profit and Loss, Balance sheet and Free Cash Flow, amongst other key schedules. Requiring collaboration with the Head of Finance in planning and co-ordinating the work of the finance team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting is achieved for both Actuals and Forecasting. The management of the central reporting package, Magnitude, is key in this area. The package is used by external stakeholders to see Wexford’s financial performance and therefore its accuracy is the key.

 

Core responsibilities include but not limited to:

 

The role will also support the Industrial cost controller by providing FTE costs input, which is a critical spend area for the site and key reporting topic. A key element is to be the SPOC for the Tagetik platform. The growing importance of Tagetik in financial reporting requires close management of this tool. The role is required to liaise with central IT teams on a monthly basis to ensure smooth closing of Actuals and Forecasting, as well as linking in with other sites to ensure alignment and collaboration when necessary.

 

The role will also be the Free Cash Flow lead. Providing accurate forecasting and actual reporting. Linking internally with Supply Chain for our key working capital lever, inventory, and externally with the Tax and Treasury teams for timings of actual cash payments. Alignment with intercompany partners and DBS will be required as a success factor to achieve accurate forecasting.

The FP&A Controller will work closely with the Head of Finance and be able to step in and represent them during any periods of absence.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Full management accountant remit with the ability to effectively support and partner the business and management.
  • A creative and logical thinker, able to deliver practical solutions.
  • Prioritises tasks and organises own time effectively.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Communicating complex and sensitive information.
  • Sound problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards and accuracy.
  • Working in a multidisciplinary fast paced environment.
  • Ability to provide accurate finance advice to stakeholders.
  • Team working and personal impact.
  • Broad range of relevant IT skills.
  • Qualified accountant- ACCA, ACA, CIMA or CPA qualified preferred
  • Minimum of 5-10 years’ PQE, incl. 2-5 years of cash forecasting.
  • Must be numerate, analytical and have good oral & written communication skills
  • Have hands on experience of modern integrated ERP systems & proficient in the use of Excel and PowerBI.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and within cross functional groups

Salary range on offer for this role is: €65,000.00 to €75,000.00, applicant experience dependant.
