As our new User eXperience Early Life Nutrition Intern, you will be joining Danone's global User eXperience team based in our Research and Innovation centre (Utrecht, NL). This team focusses on the Specialized Nutrition (SN) product category and is passionate about providing the best possible nutrition to babies and toddlers. We are seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our user experience team as co-Lead Intern in gut health for Mums and infants and claims mapping/landscaping. This internship offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals to co-lead the future opportunities for maternal and early life nutrition in the area of gut health, claims and product scoping in this area.

Your responsibilities in a nutshell:  

 
Documentation and Communication:  

• Create overview of past and current learnings to capitalize on existing knowledge 

• Analyze and translate the learnings into business recommendation to the project team & stakeholders 

• Maintain accurate and organised records of research activities and findings 

Assist in Strategy Development:  

• Collaborate with the team to contribute ideas and insights and claims landscaping to support business strategy success 

Support User Research:  

• Assist in conducting user research activities, to gather insights into user needs and pain points throughout the research and claims process 

• Evaluate the impact of claims, where possible 

Collaboration:  

• Work closely with cross-functional teams 

• Work with leading markets in this area to more fully understand the cultural and competitor landscape and influences 

Contribute to User Journey Mapping:  

• Work with the team to create user journey maps to identify key touchpoints and opportunities for improvements in the subject area 

As a User Experience Early Life Nutrition Intern, research about health & nutrition for babies will be second nature to you. You have a passion for user experience design and claims processing, and preferably have knowledge of user research methodologies and design principles. On top of that? You’re an enthusiastic, creative, and organized person with strong communication skills, who’s always looking for opportunities to learn and develop.

There are also some compulsory requirements:

• Enrolled as a Master’s student in Consumer & Sensory Sciences, Psychology, Linguistics and/or Food Science during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
• Ideally available to start in February 2025 for a minimum of 6 months, 4-5 days per week;

• You are fluent in English - spoken and written;
• You are able to work from Utrecht, at least 2-3 times per week;
• Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.

As a User eXperience Early Life Nutrition intern, you will learn about user journey maps and have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams in a multinational environment. We offer a gross monthly internship allowance 650 euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.
