This role is part of our Specialized Nutrition factory located in Zoetermeer and reports directly to the Senior Operations Project Manager within the Operations Team. In this factory (with over 500 Danoners) we produce specialized liquid medical nutrition contributing to the well-being of vulnerable target groups (infants, elderly and sick) in over 55 countries.  

 

You are the operational lead for the successful management and implementation of Innovation/Renovation projects and potentially Fuel for Growth - F4G (productivity, secure supply, quality, capability) within Supply Point Zoetermeer. The projects are implemented with high levels of complexity upon agreed time, cost and specifications and require cross-functional alignment with e.g. R&I, Regulatory, Quality and Food Safety, Procurement, Planning and CBUs.

 

From this pivotal position within Nutricia’s Zoetermeer Supply Point you will be responsible for: 

  • End-to-end Operations project management to implement changes in products manufactured at Supply Point Zoetermeer, and in some cases cross SN Supply Points in Europe. 

  • Represent Operations and SP functions (PCM, Quality, other) in F4G and innovation projects to connect effectively with central project leads, marketing and other central functions (R&I, QFS, etc) to deliver project. 

  • Network cross-functionally to deliver projects against agreed times, budget and targets. 

  • Prepare project's overviews and scenarios for decision making with senior management. 

  • Manage the complexity of different technologies and pack formats, multiple internal and external stakeholders across different locations and geographies. 

  • Ensure that project governance and methodology (F4G/ InnoPro) are followed in the projects. 

  • Assess all operational aspects, e.g. volume analysis, alignment with planning, launch timings and address corrective actions. Act as escalation point for product issues. Ensure proper hand-over from project to 'business as usual'. Lead the after-launch analysis.

You are a team player who connects easily with other functions and influences and persuades others when needed. Your strong communication skills enable you to work effectively and build trusted working relationships with different stakeholders across different functions and levels. You have excellent project management skills, have a good eye for detail. You will be working in the dynamic environment of Supply Point Zoetermeer. For this role, it is important to have a good sense of urgency and bring a proactive and solution-oriented attitude. 

 

In addition, you fit this role perfectly because you are/have: 

  • Completed education in food technology, Industrial, Chemistry, Business Administration or equivalent with focus on Operations, Supply Chain or Purchasing;

  • Proven work experience in R&D, Operations, Supply chain or purchasing in food or pharma business, with a proven track record in leading projects of complexity and business impact;

  • Project & People management;

  • Leadership - managing, influencing & persuading others;

  • Managing complexity with tenacity & resilience;

  • Excellent communicational skills; 

  • Advanced level of Business English;

  • Proven Supply Chain or Operations hands-on experience.
