Sobre el trabajo

Are you ready to shape the future of packaging through large-scale investment projects and cutting-edge technology? Do you thrive on bringing innovation to life on the factory floor?

As a Senior Packaging Technologist, you will be at the forefront of transforming our manufacturing capabilities, driving high-impact capital investment (CAPEX) projects and delivering next-generation packaging solutions. From concept to commissioning, you will play a pivotal role in scaling innovation, modernising equipment, and enabling sustainable growth across our operations, while actively contributing to innovation pipelines and productivity improvement initiatives.

Working at the intersection of engineering, operations, and innovation, you will influence major investment decisions and lead the packaging technology agenda on strategic projects, ensuring solutions are robust, efficient, and future-ready.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Leading packaging technology workstreams within CAPEX projects, from early concept and design through to commissioning and start-up
  • Defining and delivering end-to-end packaging solutions that integrate seamlessly with high-speed manufacturing environments
  • Providing expert guidance on packaging materials, formats, and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and scalability
  • Partnering cross-functionally with engineering, operations, quality, procurement, and innovation teams to deliver complex projects on time and in full
  • Driving equipment selection, line design, and technical validation, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and long-term value
  • Contributing to innovation programs and productivity initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve line performance, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency
  • Ensuring all packaging solutions meet quality, safety, regulatory, and sustainability standards
  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvement and optimisation opportunities across existing lines and packagings.

You are a technically strong, delivery-focused packaging professional with a passion for bringing large-scale projects to life. You are energised by working in complex, fast-paced manufacturing environments and have a track record of turning ideas into tangible industrial solutions, while driving innovation and efficiency improvements.

You combine strong technical depth with commercial awareness, and you are confident in influencing decisions at multiple levels from the shopfloor to senior stakeholders. You are hands-on, solution-oriented, and thrive when driving projects that make a visible impact on performance, efficiency, and sustainability.

Ideally, you will have:
