Role Purpose:

The mission of this role is to deliver high-quality, efficient dysphagia care to residents with dysphagia in nursing homes accessing the Nutricia Care service, in line with the Nutricia Care strategy.

 

The Speech & Language Therapist will contribute actively to providing a high level of service to Nutricia Care nursing homes and support the team to develop services that differentiate and innovate. They will be Responsible for ensuring excellence in the provision of Dysphagia expertise to nursing homes in line with the Nutricia Care strategy.

 

Key Activities:

  • Conduct in-person and telehealth Dysphagia assessments and develop care plans for patients in nursing homes within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct Dysphagia rehabilitation as clinically indicated for patients in nursing homes within assigned territory.
  • Deliver projects as a member of the Nutricia Care SLT team and broader HCP team to drive innovative clinical solutions to Nutricia Care nursing homes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop training and support materials/resources for people with dysphagia and HCPs caring for people with dysphagia.
  • Liaise with territory partners to manage relationships with key stakeholders and HCPs in Nutricia Care nursing homes in the region.
  • Meet continuous education requirements and maintain CORU registration.

Sobre ti

We would like you to demonstrate your following key skills:

  • CORU registered Speech & Language therapist.
  • Full driving license.
  • Strong time management, organisational and planning skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language, including computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
  • Be able to establish trust and credibility with other healthcare professionals internally and externally.
  • Clinical experience managing a range of patients with dysphagia is highly desirable.

 

Salary Bracket: €43,000-€55,000 + bonus & benefits
