We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Controller within our Finance Department. This is a Permanent, full-time contract.

 

The Supply Chain Controller plays a critical role in driving cost control, reporting, forecasting and animation of freight, logistics and warehouse costs for the Wexford Supply point. Acting as business partner to the Supply Chain and Logistics team, you will help to increase the understanding and awareness of logistics costs, increase forecast accuracy and support in cost saving / productivity opportunities.

 

The role is also required to perform volume reporting and analysis along with alignment both internally and externally. Clear understanding of volume changes and the impact to site costs will be communicated to relevant stakeholders and make a significant impact on financial reporting (recoveries and costs).

 

Volume analysis will be the main driver for intercompany alignment and recharges process required for both actual reporting and forecasting.

 

Another key element of the role is to support continuous improvements in the Wexford purchase order (PO) and goods receipting (GR) process, working with PO raisers in Wexford and P2P team.

 

Core responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Preparation and review of month end accounts for all supply chain and logistics cost lines in the P&L, including accrual journal preparation, monthly cost review vs forecast and animation and explanation to all stakeholders.
  • Produce and circulate volume report analysis to relevant stakeholders.
  • Input into rolling forecast process for Supply Chain and Logistics costs with clear visibility and understanding of cost forecast, including risk and opportunities.
  • Continuously looking to improve reporting, animation and efficiency of our processes (Power BI, Tagetik).
  • Provide efficient and accurate monthly Group reporting in required format.
  • Ensure the integrity of the PO/GR process and regular review of GRNI, including regular training of Wexford PO raisers.
  • Ad hoc analysis and requests
  • Production of timely, accurate and effective monthly volumes and supply chain cost analysis for stakeholders.
  • Comply to Group reporting timescales for reporting and analysis.
  • Continuously improve the financial data within the ERP system to improve the quality of financial reporting and analysis.
  • Comply to PO/GR compliance by driving culture of accuracy.
  • Provide meaningful analysis for decision making.
  • Educate all Wexford colleagues to a higher level of financial awareness.

Sobre ti

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified accountant- ACCA, ACA, CIMA or CPA qualified preferred
  • Minimum of 2-5 years’ PQE, incl. 2-3 years of supply chain controlling.
  • Must be numerate, analytical and have good oral & written communication skills
  • Have hands on experience of modern integrated ERP systems & proficient in the use of Excel and PowerBI.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and within cross functional groups
  • Full management accountant remit with the ability to effectively support and partner the business and management.
  • Broad range of relevant IT skills.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Communicating complex and sensitive information.
  • Sound problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
