We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Production Operator within our Supply Chain Department. This is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time contract.

The Production Operator (Warehouse) is responsible for, but not limited to, supporting Inventory, Warehouse and greater Supply Chain function.

 

The person is responsible for the accountability of the Inventory on all different types of materials (Finished goods, Semi-Finished goods, Raw materials, Packaging) which go through Wexford factory. They are heavily involved in the full Inventory & warehouse process across the entire factory. They should be familiar with all the different functions of the factory to help unlock critical situation regarding our stock and support where necessary. The role is a cover operator role so while there is core duties but the role requires the flexibility to be able to change from days to nights in line with current notice periods.

 

Core responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Work as a cover Op in the warehouse being deployed where the warehouse has gaps that need resourcing (this position carries the expectation of occasional night shift cover).
  • Work in tandem with Inventory Controller and warehouse team.
  • Execute and respect the daily processes of the inventory team.
  • Responsible for daily monitoring and clearing of system Idoc’s.
  • Carrying out weekly checks to ensure all systems inventory are aligned (SAP/APO, Tekdan, MES).
  • Track, correct and propose the right action plan for stock discrepancies in systems.
  • Assist with any testing requirements for existing/new systems for the factory.
  • Driving and monitoring cycle & stock counts for both Wexford and Store-All.
  • Monitor the downgrade process and help process all downgrade documentation.
  • Review back flush items from production on a weekly basis and correct any discrepancies.
  • Help to setup any new materials in the system.
  • Support in booking in third party deliveries and put them away.
  • Supporting the greater Supply Chain Dept on systems issues.
  • Supporting the implementation & running of control tower solutions for Logistics.
  • Supporting warehouse with daily activities both internal and external.
  • Close working relationship with the whole Quality Department.
  • Weekly Safety checks on racking and fork trucks.
  • Support with yard duties as required.
  • Support in any Audit preparation to help maintain a high standard in the warehouse and yard.

Sobre ti

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 1 – 2 year’s applicable work experience.
  • Minimum of two years of warehouse/Inventory with overall Supply Chain understanding.
  • Forklift experience
  • Strong analytical skills, curiosity, and a willingness to learn new things.
  • Good communicator and team-player with accountability
  • SAP/Tekdan/MES experience with good MS Excel skills a plus

Salary range on offer for this role is: €23.22 per hour plus applicable shift premium

 

In addition we have production bonus, pension, annual health insurance subsidy as well as several other benefits.
