The Research & Innovation (R&I) teams are at the heart of this mission :  

• We actively listen to our consumers & deeply understand our categories,

The data & resource team oversees managing product & project portfolios for R&I Europe :

• Enabling business impact through the selective implementation of superior and profitable renovation, innovation, competitiveness & sustainability plans. 
• Ensuring efficient management and coordination of resources and R&I capabilities to guarantee all deliverables within the European R&I project portfolio. Anticipating demand & set directions to develop R&I organisation. 
• Developing tools, processes, and methods to effectively monitor and manage R&I resources  
• Facilitating network and interface interactions with upstream R&I teams, R&I Finance, Europe Innovation & Productivity Realisation Office (IPRO). 
• Driving the simplification of our product portfolio, through reliable product (recipe & packaging) data 
• Harmonizing product specification data across all brands, and all countries to fasten product development, secure our license to operate. 
• Drive the data & digital transformation of R&I Europe, with a network of ambassadors 

We are looking for a Data & Resource Manager to join our team. This CDI will take place in Saclay - Global Research & Innovation center.

Your main responsibilities will focus on:  

1. Resource Prioritization Process: 

• Clarify and update priorities for each category and connect with the project portfolio. 
• Prepare resource arbitration meeting with team leader and R&I category director 
• Engage with category directors and the Europe R&I board. 
• Assess pipeline sufficiency, resource focus, and project gating readiness  
• Leverage or co-build dashboards to support resource allocation discussions. 
• Communicate on resource focus & pipeline impact 

2. Budget Monitoring and Execution: 

• Coordinate ongoing budget monitoring for Europe R&I (industrial trials and consumer tests) 
• Collaborate with finance teams, category directors and resource team ambassadors 
• Support Data & resource director in building EU R&I AOP 

3. Engage teams on individual Time Tracking and Forecast: 

• Develop and maintain reliable time tracking and forecasts within each team. 
• Engage a network of ambassadors for this purpose. 

4. Project and Portfolio Tools: 

• Develop tools & dashboards (e.g., Planview) for project and portfolio management. 
• Enhance the connection between project pipelines, product portfolio improvements (superiority, sustainability, simplification) and R&I performance KPIs. 
• Establish a framework for evaluating return on investment (ROI) for projects.

5. Alignment with Upstream R&I Teams: 

• Ensure alignment between category needs and upstream R&I team projects.

Job Dimensions :

• Regular reporting to R&I category directors & teams leaders (category & countries).
• Co-building with Data & Resource director on Europe R&I priority setting & tracking
• Coordinating with a resource management ambassadors in all Europe R&I technical team, to engage individuals in time tracking, forecast & project contribution, budget management.
• Coordinating with Europe pipeline realization office.
• Co-building with Data team (within Data & Resource team) on dashboard building, data architecture. 

Qualification & Skills :

The criteria below remain indicative. A candidate who has a different combination of experience and skills could also be considered.  

• 5 yeras Experience in innovation portfolio and project management.
• Good understanding of financial KPIs & budget management 
• Data savviness: proficiency in Excel, and/or Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
• Support in decision making
• Agility & ability to navigate with uncertainty. 
• Network engagement & facilitation
• Sharp written & oral communication
• Fluent in English.
