IDDC Waters & Aquadrinks responsibilities  : 

• Enable business development through the implementation of ambitious Innovation and renovation plans for our local and global brands  

• Be the guardian of the creation of unique consumer experiences and indisputable superiority against the competition. 

• Enable and facilitate the implementation of local and European productivity plans. 

• Be the guardian of the quality and competitiveness of the products developed within IDDC Waters & Aquadrinks  

• Become the champion of “Design To Superior Value”

• Feed the portfolio of innovation and renovation ideas and co-build the productivity portfolio with Toplines, Ops and C&P  

• Manage relationships with Factories and Co-manufacturers for product developments (homologation, development, implementation) 

1. Missions  

• Co lead with Marketing and technical teams creation of an ambitious Innovation, renovation and productivity pipeline for European Aquadrinks brands 

• Co lead with the R&I brand owner, the Marketing & technical teams and the CBUS the innovation / renovation agenda for Volvic brand and be the technical guardian of the brand 

• Manage his team of engineer to develop and deliver all projects related to its platform: Innovation, renovation, productivity and ‘Business Continuity’  

• Guarantee the organoleptic and nutritional quality and competitiveness of all products developed. 

•  Manage and develop the team of engineer under his responsibility. 

1. Main accountabilities 

• Collaborate and finalize the development of technical briefs in collaboration with the local R&I teams for each CBU  

• Assign and support the teams of engineers in charge of product developpment by using adequat laboratories and pilots in order to deliver a product experience corresponding to the product brief  

• Ensure an efficient management of all the human and financial resources under his responsibility to execute his mission  

• As Volvic R&I category Co-build with the R&I brand owner and the Toplines teams and deliver the innovation agenda with the Categories (product and pack development) 

• Ensure competitiveness in everything we do (Innovation - Renovation – Simplification) 

• Ensure superiority of European Aquadrinks portfolios  

• Guarantee excellence in execution at industrial level according to specifications 

• Drive differentiation through science & technology into our portfolios y ​ 

• Define the health roadmap  

• Ensure good management of interfaces with technical functions (Ops, C&P and Quality)   

• Actively participate in the organization with local R&I of inspiration & tasting sessions (“Creativity day”) for Toplines teams 

• Actively participate in the execution of technical roadmaps to anticipate future needs. 

•  Coordinate the implementation of the Simplification Roadmap 

• Actively contribute to the development of your team members through relevant RDPs and action plans. 

1. Dimensions of the job  

• Management of a team of engineers of 6 people based in Gif sur Yvette 
• Management of internal stakeholders: Local R&I Directors & cross-functional functions (UX, Pack), local MKT & Toplines, local & global IPRO, Plant Directors 
• Management of external suppliers: Ingredients & processes

• R&I Locales teams ( 7 CBu’s) and UX 

• R&I Global teams Advanced tech.& Science 

• IPRO local & EU teams 

• D2D local teams 

• Multi-country Industrial Team: Innovation - Industrial trials & 1st prod. 

• Multi-country Quality Team: quality project management & innovation pipeline 

• Multi-country C&P team: productivity and supplier relations 

Experience 

• Minimum 7 years of experience in the FMCG industry and in the field of food engineering, preferably in beverages  

• Proven experience within a local business (CBU) or within a global organization 

• Experience in team management 

• Working experience in a matrixial organization 

Competencies   

• Excellent level of technical expertise of products in its reference categories: Dairy (all techno) y/o AQD’s y/o Plant-based.  Must act as technical referent of its technical platform. 

• Very good Level of expertise in industrial assets relating to categories: Dairy (all techno) y/o AQD’s y/ O Plant-based 

• Excellent knowledge of Food EU regulations, and Danone Food Safety guidance. 

• Good leadership of cross-functional teams in a complex environment. and strategic vision  

• Good managerial skills and motivated by people development.  

• Proactive, open, curious mindset, not afraid of taking risks.
