Are you up for a challenging internship experience with the real taste of business world? Then join us mid February 2025 at our office in Hoofddorp, Netherlands ! In the role of Innovations and Productivity Project Management intern, you will have the opportunity to use your data skills in a wide range of projects, including sustainability!

 

The Team


You will be part of EU Innovation and Productivity Realization Office (IPRO). This team is responsible for managing the portfolio of projects for First Diet (Baby Food), Waters, Dairy, Plant-based and governing stage gates of the projects. EU D2D IPRO team closely collaborates with cross-functional teams: Research & Innovation, Cycles and Procurement, Quality & Food Safety, Specifications, Operations Performance Project (OPP, managing projects from factories), 3rd Party Manufacturing (3PM), as well as Sales & Operations . You will report to EU D2D IPRO senior manager (Marion Le Gall), who is ready to help you grow! There is a high team spirit and a lot of resilience; they like to work hard to deliver great results but always with team effort & a great, international atmosphere!

 

In the team there will be 15 members spread across the countries: France, Poland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, UK, Belgium and The Netherlands. You will be mainly working with the remote team, however you are more than welcome to join your team leader at the office in Hoofddorp.

 

Your Mission

 

Your main projects at the start will be:

 

1. Drive projects’ successful landing by coordinating with different project team members, leading drumbeat meetings, and presenting progress in governance forums. Examples of sustainability related projects or duplication project (switch ingredient X supplied from supplier A to supplier B)

 

2. Maintain and update current databases, by connecting with supply chain colleagues to get the right data. You also have the freedom to improve the presentation of it. These tools will be used to make impactful decisions and consequently integrity of the information is paramount! Examples of databases that you will be managing: savings dashboards (Fuel for Growth), Innovation tracker (IProView tool), Masterfile and mapping of all factories, Project Budget monitoring, etc.

 

3. Lead process and tools improvement 

Analyse project management actual ways of working. Highlight gaps vs standards and identify improvement opportunities. Recommend solutions and implement test runs. You will be our fresh set of eyes on constantly evolving processes and tools!

A propos de vous

You are a Bachelor/Master student in i.e. Food Science, Economics, Engineering, Procurement or Supply Chain or any related fields. You are an autonomous team player enjoying challenges and solving analytical problems. You have a great eye for detail, and you have powerful data management skills. You don’t give up easily and you like to go the extra mile to have all necessary information to make the right recommendations. You like to communicate with many colleagues to get the right data from them, so you are fluent in English and you love Excel & Powerpoint (PowerBi experience is a not a requisite, but a plus).

 

There are also some compulsory requirements:

 

  • Enrolled as a Bachelors/Masters student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
  • Ideally available to start February 2025 for approx. 6 months, 5 days per week;
  • You are fluent in English - oral and written;
  • You are able to work from Hoofddorp 1-2 times per week.
  • Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.

We Offer

 

We offer a gross monthly internship allowance 650 euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.

 

* Please be aware that you must acquire a BSN number to receive the full internship allowance.

 

In the Netherlands we also offer a hybrid working environment which enables each team to meet our people's desire for flexibility.
