About the Job
As a Whey and Dairy Ingredients Intern, you will be part of the dynamic and collaborative Dairy Ingredients Team and will report to Celine Suarez (Global Senior Buyer Dairy Ingredients). You will work on various projects to support the business in securing materials, achieving cost savings, and consolidating data for sustainability and quality initiatives. In this role, you will interact with both internal and external stakeholders, gaining valuable experience in stakeholder management and collaboration. The team values open communication, continuous learning, and teamwork, ensuring a supportive environment where you can grow and contribute meaningfully.
Your responsibilities will be:
Business Continuity Plan:
- Support the business in securing materials through leading supplier validation or reformulation projects
- Monitor progress of projects
- Report and communicate results to buyers, stakeholders and Management
Productivity Program:
- Support the business in achieving cost savings through leading productivity projects
- Monitor progress of projects
- Report and communicate results to buyers, stakeholders and Management
Sustainability & Quality:
- Build a supplier/material database to facilitate sustainability projects consolidation for Procurement function
- Consolidate a supplier/material information related to new regulation on contaminants
Data & Analysis:
- Consolidate data from complete network - 23 supply points across Europe, Asia and Americas
- Complete analysis and forecast cycles for each supplier
- Communicate results and forecasts to the appropriate factories
- Support in price forecasting exercise
A propos de vous
As a Whey and Dairy Ingredients Intern, data analysis will be second nature to you. You can communicate effectively and have strong analytical skills. On top of that, you’re a proactive self-starter who’s always looking for opportunities to learn and develop.
There are also some compulsory requirements:
- Enrolled as a Master’s student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
- Ideally available to start in February 2025 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;
- You are fluent in English - spoken and written;
- You are able to work from Hoofddorp, at least 2-3 times per week;
- Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.

We offer a gross monthly internship allowance 650 euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.
* Please be aware that you must acquire a BSN number to receive the full internship allowance.
