At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire a Quality Document Specialist based in our Chatsworth, California manufacturing plant! This role is crucial for maintaining and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), forms, and completing trend reports and analysis of compiled Quality data. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, take initiative on starting and completing projects, and handle various clerical tasks within the Quality department.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following

  • Organize, file & scan QA documents upon completion.  
  • Maintain, create, and update Sop’s and Forms  
  • Review documentation for compliance, accuracy, and timeliness of completion. 
  • Integrate new forms into Redzone/Smartsheet as needed. 
  • Assist in preparation and coordination of audits and inspections. 
  • Manage document control processes
  • Update and upload status of documents in the ETQ system.  
  • Deliver Quality Assurance trainings
  • Maintain QA presentations and materials up to date.  
  • Maintain and order Quality Lab Supplies and tools. 
  • CoA review of incoming ingredients and packaging 
  • Generate customer Certificate of Analysis 
  • Assisting in supporting the Quality Compliance Specialist  
  • Handle administrative related tasks.  
  • Assist with all other QA duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

 

Education and Experience: 

  • 4 Yrs College Degree Preferred  
  • 3 – 6 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education that would provide the level of knowledge, skill and ability required is acceptable 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Must be highly organized and analytical. 
  • Proven ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented environment. 
  • Effectively perform complex data analysis 
  • Excellent record keeping / documentation skills
  • Outstanding communication / presentation skills / report writing. 
  • Effective interpersonal skills to interface with all levels of employees 
  • Statistical analysis knowledge a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet's Lavoratory instrumentation, and lab equpment.

  • Familiar with Quality Solutions Software and LIMS is a plus.

The base compensation range for this position is $29 to $33 per hour commensurate with experience.  Danone North America additionally offers a performance-based bonus and has a strong benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage, 401K Plan, Wellness Program, Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, Flexible Time Off and Paid Parental Bonding Leave among other benefit plan options.
