About the Job

We are seeking a Senior Manager of Regenerative Agriculture Impact and Partnerships to assist in advancing our mission by adopting agricultural models that can regenerate the planet, while feeding a growing global population. This position is designed for a strategic thinker who will drive impactful change in regenerative agriculture and climate impact, contributing significantly to our climate action goals while demonstrating the value of these efforts across the entire supply chain.

This individual will assist in developing a comprehensive impact strategy to showcase the benefits of regenerative systems, illustrating their advantages not only for farmers but also as a positive contributor to Danone’s sustainability and profitability. This role involves designing and managing projects that deliver measurable environmental, social, and economic outcomes, aligning with Danone’s mission to lead in sustainable and responsible business practices. They will drive the execution strategy of externally funded projects- working cross functionally with teams, ensuring ultimate success.  The goal is to advance our regenerative agriculture objectives while demonstrating the tangible benefits and resilience these initiatives bring to agricultural sustainability and our supply chain.

Another critical aspect of this role is the cultivation and maintenance of strategic relationships. The candidate will engage with partners, stakeholders, and industry leaders to foster collaborative efforts that support our initiatives and goals. They will be responsible for identifying and pursuing funding sources that align with our mission, ensuring that our projects are adequately resourced and can achieve their intended impact.

Overall, this role is essential for driving our vision forward, leveraging relationships and resources to enhance our regenerative agriculture efforts and contribute to a more sustainable and resilient food system. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sustainability, adept at strategic planning, and skilled in building strong partnerships to support and achieve our objectives.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  Impact Strategy:

  • Demonstrate the real-world benefits and resilience of regenerative agriculture across our supply chain.
  • Ensure that our regenerative initiatives are advancing Danone’s goals for sustainability and value.
  • Drive transformative change in climate impact initiatives, aligning with Danone’s ambitious climate action goals.
  • Highlight the advantages of regenerative agriculture for both farmers and Danone’s bottom line, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability.

Strategic Partnerships:

  • Assist in cultivating and sustaining robust relationships with key internal and external partners, stakeholders, and industry influencers.
  • Promote collaboration to support and amplify our regenerative agriculture goals.

Resource and Funding Strategy:

  • Identify and secure funding opportunities that align with Danone’s mission.
  • Ensure that projects are well-supported and effectively resourced to achieve their full potential.
  • Responsible for the successful execution strategy of funded projects and programs.

The base compensation range for this position is $109,000-164,000 commensurate with experience. Danone North America additionally offers a performance-based bonus and has a strong benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage, 401k Plan, Wellness Program, Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, Flexible Time Off, and Paid Parental Bonding Leave, among other benefit plan options. A propos de vous

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Environmental Science, Agricultural, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s Degree preferred in a relevant discipline such as Environmental Management, Sustainable Agriculture, or Business Administration with a focus on sustainability.
  • A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in regenerative agriculture, sustainability, public affairs, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and managing projects related to regenerative agriculture, environmental impact, or sustainability.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing strategies that drive significant environmental, social, and economic outcomes.
  • Experience in building and maintaining strategic partnerships with stakeholders, industry leaders, and funding organizations.
  • Strong background in managing projects from inception to completion, with a focus on measurable outcomes and resource optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, secure, and manage funding sources that support strategic goals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and other relevant software and platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and convey information to diverse audiences.
