Industrial Project Manager - 18 Months Contract - Danone Canada

About the job

The Industrial Project Manager represents all productivity, innovation, and renovation projects for Danone Canada at the Boucherville plant. They are part of the network of Industrial Project Managers in North America.
Main Responsibilities:
 
• Ensure excellence in project execution.
• Analyze risks and develop action plans.
• Assess feasibility for quality and industry.
• Participate in industrial trials: define objectives, develop the process, plan, communicate, execute, and return to original parameters.
• Validate packaging graphics and specifications for ingredients, raw materials, packaging, and finished products.
• Communicate with the plant on test planning and key elements before the first production.
• Integrate the project into plant processes: update risk analyses, lockout sheets, HACCP, control plans, sanitary and mechanical preventive measures, instructions, and training guides.
• Monitor the launch and closure of projects.

About you

Required Qualifications and Skills:
 
• Bachelor's degree in food science and technology, engineering, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in the industrial and packaging field.
• Experience in the food, pharmaceutical, or cosmetic industry.
• Bilingualism required (French and English).
• Cross-functional leadership and project management skills.
• Ability to propose new opportunities.
• Excellent communication, mobilization, and change management skills.
• Quick identification, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Process analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses.
• Use of statistical process control (SPC) tools.
• Flexibility in work hours according to emergencies and priorities.
