About the role:
In this position you will have the overall responsibility for the pharmacy and wholesaler channel within our medical nutrition business. You will have a central role in our sales team, and drive profit development, long term vision and strategy for growth in the channels Pharma & Wholesale. The role also includes execution of the annual Commercial Plan including product launch and campaign activities for specific brand(s) to deliver on the business and market share targets.
You will join the local sales team in Sweden and and be part of the Commercial team, participate in key local & NorBal (Nordics & Baltics) business and sales meetings. This is a full-time, permanent position and we expect you to be at the office in Solna at least 3 days/week. Travel in connection with customer visits is to be expected. You will report to our Head of Sales SN Sweden, who also is located in Solna.
As our Pharmacy & Wholesaler Manager your main focus will be:
- Contribute to Danone Nutricia Sweden overall growth by building a solid transversal pharmacy & wholesaler business, accelerating SN sales and strategy and risk assessment.
- Secure integrated pharmacy & wholesaler strategy and tactics as part of annual Commercial Plan for Sweden.
- Responsible for pharmacy & wholesaler channel topline sales, margin and profitability, pricing and brand performance objectives.
- Explore potential strategic alliances with Wholesaler and new business opportunities in both public and private sectors.
- Work closely with the wholesalers to drive sales and create close partnership. Negotiate and maximize tender collaboration with wholesalers related to new products, revised assortment and optimized product portfolio.
About you
To be successful in this position we believe that you first and foremost have a humbleness and curiosity for the health industry, combined with a solid experience within sales. We also hope that you bring;
- Strategic ability and strong commercial mind-set and skills
- High level of verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in English and Swedish on a business level
- Around 5 years within sales or similar role (preferably from pharma, life science or other FMCG
- Effective networker and strong ability to collaborate and motivate with an ability to seek win-win solutions both internally and externally
- Proven track record of managing, influencing & building customer relationships
