We are looking for a Global Strategic Insights & Analytics (SIA) senior manager for the scope of cross category shopper and sustainability. The position is based in Paris (17 boulevard Haussmann 75009 Paris, to move to La Fayette from September onwards). In this position, you will report to the Strategic Insights & Analytics director. Your main missions will be :

  • Working across our Danone categories (Specialized Nutrition, Dairy, Plant-Based and Waters) with Global Sales team (category directors, capability director, PRGM team), Global Sustainability Team, Global SIA category teams, zones/local SIA teams
  • Leads insights generation and embedding for cross-category projects on Sustainability & Shopper.
  • Building shopper & consumer sustainability centricity at the core of how business is driven with the cross-category teams (Shopper = Sales team; Sustainability = Sustainability team) thanks to relevant and actionable insights, strategic thinking and strong business partnering skills.
  • Elevate the quality of shopper and sustainability insight globally for Danone, building consistency of approach across categories, and depth of insight to have clear links to building business value (category vision, OBPPC, Value at risk/Value at stake, optimal claims for Danone Impact Journey)
  • Lead insight generation programmes as well as cross category compilations for meta learnings to facilitate digestion across Danone teams
  • Work alongside category SIA teams to embed shopper & sustainability insights with their business partners (sustainability, sales, brand) to build business value at a category and brand level
  • Lead a team composed of a manager supporting on Shopper, a consultant supporting on Sustainability and an intern

Main responsibilities & KPIs will be:

  • Fuel the business (global and local entities) with insights for business growth through shopper journey and sustainability communication and action
  • Help stakeholders nail their key business challenges and build learning plan to address those
  • Plan, develop and execute research plans grounded in deep understanding of the business challenges and opportunities on the topics of sustainability (nature & communities) and shopper
  • Have the mindset to continuously integrate and triangulate data and insight from multiple sources, bringing the outside-in, injecting/ feeding consumer insights across shopper + sustainability
  • Be mindful to join the dots on how sustainability & shopper insights could impact different areas of potential brand and business growth (pack, shelf, positioning, claims, comms, concept etc.) to have better conversations with business and SIA partners

About you

 

The criteria below remain indicative. A candidate who has a different combination of experience and skills could also be considered.

  • At least 12 years of experience in Insights & Analytics, being fluent in qualitative, quantitative and new technologies methodologies
  • Fluent in english and in data management
  • Specific prior experience with shopper and/or sustainability insight
  • Specific experience in embedding insights into the business and convincing stakeholders to drive action
  • Capacity to navigate in an international matrixial organization, embading senior stakeholders
  • Ability to show critical thinking, ask power questions and challenge constructively to bring clarity to the organization on key business challenges
