About you

As HR Business Partner, you work closely and hands‑on with the business and get exposure to stakeholders at all levels. You will provide guidance in complex HR matters using your knowledge of Finnish labour law and local employment practices, as well as provide HR support on both a strategic and operational level. You will work closely with the HR team across Nordics & Baltics, consisting of local HR Business Partners, Talent & Learning, Reward, Internal Communication & Engagement and Payroll. Your main focus will be on Finland, while some of your projects and responsibilities will span across the Nordic & Baltic region. You will play a key role in strengthening people processes in the Finnish organisation, supporting both growth, engagement and organisational development.

 

Your main responsibilities will be:
  • Support and partner with team leaders in the execution of annual HR processes and organisational development initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees in a wide range of HR‑related matters, always ensuring correct measures and compliance according to Finnish legislation and Danone business strategy.
  • Continuously review and update HR processes and policies, proactively driving the HR agenda in line with the Nordic & Baltic vision.
  • Own and maintain HR data in relevant systems, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee records and compiling employee‑related reporting.
  • Coordinate employee inductions and manage onboarding together with the Talent & Learning team.
  • Support recruitment processes and learning activities as HR Business Partner, always with the business perspective in mind.
  • Contribute to working environment improvements, HR‑related internal communication and other ad‑hoc projects as needed.

In order to be successful in this role, you need to have:

  • A degree within Human Resources or equivalent.
  • Approximately 5 years of experience from a broad HR role, preferably in an international or matrix organisation.
  • Solid knowledge of Finnish labour law and experience in providing legal guidance connected to employment matters.
  • Experience working in FMCG, retail or other fast‑moving industries is considered a merit.
  • Strong communication skills in Finnish and English, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to navigate a complex stakeholder environment.
  • The confidence to work independently with high integrity, while collaborating effectively with all levels of the organisation.
  • A true team‑player mindset with strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for people.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
